Please reach out to us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
At Cue N Arrow we prefer to work with the body, not against the body. Although we can mostly tell, we will never feel what you feel. Therefore, it is important that you communicate with us if you would like either more, or less pressure. More is Not always better, this is not a no-pain no-gain scenario, this is rest and recovery. We have a clear pain scale that we will gladly share with you.
If you happen to like “deep-tissue”, please know this request always comes as an Orange Flag to us. Maybe you have a high tolerance, and that’s ok. Yes, we can do deep work while working with the body. However, we will not use deep-pressure all session long. Again, this is rest and recovery, not a gym.
Well… What is your goal? What is the state of your body? Are you in pain? What is the state of your economy? Are you petite or 6’+? How many years have you dedicated hours and hours to a posture? How important is this to you?
The simple answer is, time is everything, table-time is better.
Before every session, we will listen to what your body needs at that time, and will then generate a custom plan for that session. Most clients get a blend of Bodywork and Massage, some ask for a specific skill. It’s your session, we will customize each session only for you. Our goal is to help you, Feel Your Wellness!!
Want more specifics? All included yet optional if you do not want them: Heated table, Hot-Stones, Aromatherapy (lavender unless you Ask for another), Leg-Bolster, Speaker, Weighted Eye Cover, Hypoallergenic Massage Gel, As-Offered Table—Time.
A Standard session assumes all items listed above may and will likely be utilized during the session.
A blend of Bodywork and Massage means we can focus on problem areas and bring some relief, while still providing a full-body session.
Does that mean you could dedicate a whole session focused on one major area of Discomfort or concern?
Yes - This is the Bodywork part. No - we will not just rub your booboo for that whole time, and don’t be alarmed when it’s not the first item on the list of treatment either. Because it is targeting tension patterns, it may not be mirrored on both sides of the body, and is slower for deeper work.
Massage tends to be mirrored on both sides of the body, is inclusive of the full body, and is of a flowing nature.
What about that weird worded one, CranioSacral, how could you blend that?
Through a mandibular(jaw) decompression for instance while providing TMJ treatment on a client with headaches, flowing right in with the rest of the head-neck Bodywork and Massage.
Individual skills may be called for individual circumstances, same as a Hot-Stone, or Cupping.
